Choose the RIVER 2 Max if you need to recharge the station through USB-C; choose the lighter Jackery 500 v2 if carrying weight matters more.
Both the RIVER 2 Max and Jackery 500 v2 provide up to 100 W USB-C output for compatible electronics. EcoFlow also documents USB-C input for recharging the station; the Jackery’s USB-C ports are outputs. The Jackery is 0.3 kg lighter.
The 500 W continuous AC limit rules out a typical high-power UK kettle. Move up a size if you need more hours between charges or higher running power.
