Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus v2
The Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus v2 has 1,024 Wh, 1,800 W rated AC output and a 10.8 kg base-unit weight. Choose it over the standard 1000 v2 when you need the higher output or compatible battery expansion.
Listed for purchaseOur take
Choose it for expansion or higher running loads; the standard 1000 v2 has slightly more built-in capacity.
The existing Explorer 1000 v2 has 1,070 Wh and 1,500 W output. The Plus v2 therefore changes output and expansion, rather than simply supplying more base-unit energy.
Jackery advertises expansion to about 11 kWh. Additional packs and cables increase the cost, weight and space of the complete setup; they do not raise the main unit’s continuous output.

What changes beside the standard 1000 v2?
The Plus v2 adds 300 W of rated AC output, but has 46 Wh less built-in storage. If your appliances fit within the standard model’s 1,500 W rating and you will not add batteries, the Plus name alone is no reason to switch. Compare the Explorer 1000 v2 alongside the complete price and package you are considering.

The UK package options name Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2. Confirm the pack and connection cable for this exact station; the earlier Explorer 1000 Plus and US HomePower models are separate products. Our expansion guide explains the extra carrying weight and charging requirement.
