Start with the job, then compare brands
Write down the equipment, its running watts, the hours between charges and the weight you can carry. Use the capacity planner to build a shortlist. A brand with a suitable small station may still have no suitable model for a longer session.
Five questions for the seller
| Check | Ask for | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Exact unit | Model code, socket photograph and regional manual | Similar names can describe different generations or electrical versions. |
| Usable setup | Continuous output and startup limits | A large battery does not make every appliance compatible. |
| Complete price | Station, required charging accessories, delivery and tax | A base-unit price may leave out equipment your plan needs. |
| After-sales help | Seller identity, warranty terms and return address | A support email is not a confirmed local repair route. |
| Offline use | Which controls need an app, account or connection | Check the functions you will need at the campsite or job. |
Two additions worth comparing
Anker SOLIX adds a lighter option around 1 kWh. DJI adds a different output-and-weight trade-off in that class and a larger-capacity option. Read the model records for figures, source links and unresolved regional details. These additions widen the choice; they are not a reliability ranking.
What our region labels mean
“UK listing” or “European listing” tells you where the information came from. It does not promise delivery to your address. Open the seller link and check the supplied sockets, delivery country and total price.
When two published figures disagree
We show the competing figures and name the affected specification. We leave it out of numeric filtering until resolved. A disagreement could reflect a different version or a page error; it does not prove a defective product. Ask the seller to identify the figure for the exact unit you will receive.
